MailLight for Mac OS Xversion 1.2.7This software is currently unsupported. If you want to download it and play with it, feel free, but there is no support available. If you use Eudora, use OS X, and would actually like to know when you have new email, you want MailLight. MailLight adds an icon to the menubar that alerts you when you have unread mail waiting in Eudora. Use the drop down menu to bring Eudora to the foreground or to configure MailLight's settings. NEW: Fix for 'Open Mailboxes' function with Eudora 5.1.1b23. Available as an application or as a menu extra (Mac OS X 10.1 required). Special notes about the menu extra:
You can now have the MailLight icon flash when new mail is waiting. Select 'Open Mailboxes' and MailLight will switch to Eudora and open all mailboxes, excluding those on your ignore list, that have unread mail. The MailLight icon features a drop-down menu with a dual function: bring Eudora to the foreground or configure MailLight's settings. You control how often MailLight checks Eudora for new mail. Note: MailLight checks locally; it doesn't touch your mail server or the internet. Set MailLight to ignore any mailboxes you choose (particularly handy for your subscriptions mailboxes). Simple "ignore settings" interface is heirarchical, providing a clean view of your mailboxes and a convenient, single-click way to ignore sub-directories. MailLight notifies you of new messages in the mailboxes you care about most. Configure MailLight icon to display in the dock! The dock icon will alert you to new mail, just like the menubar icon. Note: Changing the preference for whether MailLight is in the dock or not
has been removed from the UI, to change it do the following: Wow! A nifty utility for only $7.50! All this convenience and functionality can be yours for the price of a super burrito! Copyright
